OLA Update #17 / 16th December, 2021

 

CENTRAL ZONE

December 11th, 2021

Fantale district, East Shawa – OLA forces took action on the regime military in Haro Qarsa resulting in over 43 enemy combatants being killed and several more being injured.

December 13th, 2021

Fantale district, East Shawa - OLA forces took action on regime military reinforcements arriving in the area resulting in several enemy combatants being killed and several more being injured.

December 15th, 2021

Liban Chukula district, East Shawa - OLA forces took action on a regime military patrol in Galeyi resulting in 7 enemy combatants being killed and several injured. Several items of weaponry were also captured.

 

NORTHERN ZONE

December 12th, 2021

Dawe district, Wollo - OLA forces took action on regime military forces in Urane Salaama resulting in several enemy combatants being killed and more being injured.

 

SOUTHERN ZONE

December 3rd, 2021

Goro Dola district, Guji – OLA forces captured a regime military camp in Badana.

Goro Dola district, Guji - In Haraqalo town, OLA forces took action on regime forces resulting in 9 enemy combatants being killed and 5 being injured.

December 4th, 2021

Nagele Borana town, Guji – A regime military convoy that was attempting to retake areas liberated by the OLA, was driven back to Nagele Borana where fighting resulted in 36 enemy combatants being killed and 37 being injured.

Liban district, Guji - OLA forces took action on a regime military patrol in Mugayo resulting in 2 enemy combatants being killed and 4 being injured.

December 12th, 2021

Saba Boru district, Guji - OLA forces took action on regime military forces in Adda Gobicha and Adda Bono resulting in 20 enemy combatants being killed and 26 being injured.

December 14th, 2021

Goro Dola district, Guji - OLA forces took action on regime military forces in Jidola resulting in 30 enemy combatants being killed and over 40 being injured.

Wadara district, Guji - OLA forces took action on regime military forces in Wadara town resulting in 7 enemy combatants being killed and 5 being injured.

 

SOUTHEASTERN ZONE

December 12th, 2021

Heban district, West Arsi - OLA commando units took action on a regime military patrol resulting in 12 enemy combatants being killed and 15 being injured.

 

EASTERN ZONE

December 8th, 2021

Chinaksan district, Hararghe - OLA commando units took action on regime military forces in Dawe Kora resulting in 7 enemy combatants being killed and 12 being injured.

WESTERN ZONE

December 12th, 2021

Wama Hagalo district, East Walaga - OLA forces captured the district capital of Mote after fighting that resulted in 250 enemy combatants being injured. A counter-offensive by the regime military was routed.

Bako district, West Shawa - OLA forces took action on a regime military convoy traveling from Nekemte to Bako town resulting in two Ural trucks being destroyed.

December 13th, 2021

Begi district, West Walaga - OLA forces routed a regime military offensive that came from Asosa. 8 Ural trucks were destroyed resulting in over a 150 enemy combatants being killed and several more being injured.

Nunu Kumba district, East Walaga - Regime military forces crossing the Dhidessa River to recapture the district were defeated and forced to retreat.

Jimma Arjo district, East Walaga - Regime military forces launched an offensive from Bedele town to recapture the district and were defeated and forced to retreat.
